Generally speaking, the guidelines provided in the Editorial Freelancers Association’s Rates Chart are where I start for pricing a job. Since joining the EFA in 2012, I have taken part in the member surveys they use to establish prices.

How Pricing Works

Some projects are charged by the hour and others by the page. After discussing the scope and terms of your job, I will provide a not-to-exceed estimate, with a breakdown of all charges, allowing you some certainty in your budget and relieving the worry of scope creep that many experience when hiring a freelancer.
